Indicator 20: State reported data (618 and State Performance Plan and Annual Performance Report) are timely and accurate. For more detailed information regarding this indicator, please review Indicator #20, of the State Performance Plan.

The Special Education Team collects and processes data on special education programming as required by state and federal statutes. Much of the Section 618 data and student-specific data is collected through the Individual Student Enrollment System (ISES). Other special education data related to the State Performance Plan indictors are submitted by LEAs through the PI-1202, through the Special Education Web Portal, through the Program Participation System (PPS), and through surveys. DPI conducts verification activities to ensure timely and accurate submission of data.

Comparison of the October 2011 Child Count to the 2012 Count (data as of 11/01/12)
This document compares the October 1, 2011 child count to the October 1, 2012 child count. Please review this document carefully and work with your ISES staff to ensure the LEA’s child count data is accurate. A Child Count Progress and Summary Report is also available within the ISES application which will allow you to further review the LEA’s child count data in more detail, including by primary disability, gender, race/ethnicity, educational environment, or age on count date. These reports can be produced by your ISES staff.
